I Love Betty La Fea Episode 44: Tough love

In the past, Daniella has concocted plans to break Armando and Marcella apart. But since Marcella threatened to kill herself if Armando learns that she’s not really pregnant, she pleads with Betty not to expose Marcella’s secret to Armando. Luckily for them, Betty’s compassionate nature compels her to keep mum about it. But deep down, she is devastated by the fact that she has agreed to conspire with their deception.

Add in her misunderstanding with Jen and her one-sided love towards Armando, no wonder Betty drinks herself into oblivion together with Drake in a bar where Eco Moda’s newest client, Jeremy, is celebrating his birthday. At one point, he sends a complimentary cocktail drink to Betty and briefly chats with her about some business matters while Drake was in men’s room.

 Then a twist of fate brings Kylie, Rita, and Jen in the same bar where Betty and Drake are. Once again, Jen makes the wrong conclusions about them and walks out without even listening to what Betty has to say. The incident further pushes Betty to drink more so she can at least vent all her suppressed emotions especially towards Armando.

To Drake’s surprise, Armando happens to pass by just as he and Betty came out of the bar. Since Armando has a car and he knows where Betty lives anyway, he volunteers to take her home instead. Oblivious to what’s happening around her, Betty mistakenly thinks that it was still Drake who was with her in the car so she kept on talking about how much she loves Armando!

How will Armando deal with her drunken confession? Will it create a unbridgeable gap between them?
