Japan’s market is already developed and the drama series are very attractive to their audience. Coral’s work is admirable, as it is the only company selling telenovelas in this country, and is now preparing Betty la Fea in Japanese.
Coral has sold Betty la Fea in The Philippines and in India, where they also sold Un Angel Llamado Azul; El Cachaco y La Costeña in Malaysia and Indonesia. |
Why is there not any continuity in their buying and your selling? Japan is not yet sure about telenovelas and besides, they are producing many short series. Moral and spiritual values are too different and our telenovelas present a very sensual woman who has a very different role in society from the Japanese one.
