With Roberto’s visit in Eco Moda, Marcella is able to dodge Armando’s curiosity about her mother. As it is, he feels pressured to come up with a good presentation for more brownie points following the success of their recent product launch. Winning Daniella’s support is moot at this point since he has antagonized her by defending Betty from her wrath. So is left with no choice but to ask his secretaries to help him achieve a great report.

 

As expected, Betty rises above the challenge by preparing all the required details and references for Armando’s presentation. She is in fact about to hand the folders to him when Nicholas suddenly arrives in the office. Apparently, he wants to start his courtship of Patricia despite Betty’s protests. But there’s no time for further argument between them as Armando reminds her about their important meeting at that same moment.

 

Before she can tell him that all is ready, however, Patricia turns up with her reports on hand, claiming sole credit for the completed task. As such, it is she who later basks in the board’s praises for a job well done. But her scheming actions soon backfires on her as Armando assigns her to do a feasibility study on Mario’s expansion plans. Betty naturally refuses accept the responsibility when Patricia tries to bail out, knowing full well that the latter cannot do it.

 

How will the dumb Patricia find a way out of a sure failure on her part?
