Poor Betty has no choice but to home for fear that Daniella will really wield her power against her family and her future with other companies. As she unloads her sentiments to Nicholas, the latter in turn advises her not to interfere with other people’s personal affairs next time. Because sometimes, even good intentions will only blow up to her face just like what happened this time. Unbeknownst to them, Armando has quickly followed Betty home as soon as he learned that Daniella has fired her because of Christina Larson. But since Betty is still with Nicholas at that time, Armando is compelled to listen to her father’s mistaken belief that he’s there as a suitor.

As soon as Betty arrives though, she immediately corrects Daddy Hermes’ misconception, much to Armando’s relief. Then he begins to explain that Daniella has no right to dismiss her without his approval. Betty tells him about Daniella’s threats against her family but Armando assures her that he will protect her when worst comes to worst. Though those are merely kind words from a concerned boss, Betty can’t help but fantasize about being romanced by him long after he has left her home. At the same time, she also feels guilty knowing that it’s wrong to yearn for someone who already has a girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Armando succeeds in making Marcella understand Christina’s obsession towards him. Indeed, she loves Armando so much that she is willing to overlook his womanizing ways. Her foolishness has even enraged Daniella earlier for she claims that she will only break up with Armando if he says that he doesn’t love her anymore. To be fair to him though, Armando is truly trying his best to veer away from flirty girls.
