When Betty still showed up at the office the next day, Daniella immediately confronts her about her nerve to be there after all that has happened. Luckily, Armando arrives in time to make it clear that only he has the right to fire Betty. With that, Daniella has no choice but to leave poor Betty alone for now. Things would have been alright again if not for Patricia’s scheming play-acting about not wanting Marcella to get hurt. As it is, the latter overhears Patricia lashing out at Betty for being such a suck-up by making alibis for Armando. This enrages Marcella who in turn becomes Patricia’s ally.

  

Meanwhile, Marcella is still at odds with Daniella who has been persuading her to turn against Armando since day one. But nothing can convince Marcella to betray the man whom she loves with all her heart. Not even the thought of their mom’s sufferings because of Armando’s father can make her agree to connive with Daniella again. Their argument is going nowhere until Armando steps inside Marcella’s office, causing Daniella to leave her alone for a while. Concerned with the sisters’ relationship, Armando suggests that he accompany them when they come to visit their mother’s “grave”. But instead of warming to his idea, Marcella is quick to tell him no.

 

What other secrets is Marcella trying to hide about her mother? Is she worried about her mother’s previous affair with Roberto? Or is she afraid about something else?
